Today my partner has sent a check to our architect to begin official prints for our full scale build out. Once those are complete and then approved my the county, we will be able to have in the job bid on by contractors.
Luckily our building owner is also a contractor. This should save us some money on our “turn-key” build out of the space.
We will have room for 2 pods and space for a future 3rd “float cabin”. Also a post-float room, blow-dry room, and misc for other activities.
I realize this is just the beginning. There is a long 5-6 month stressful journey ahead of us with a strict budget in place.
Neither my partner or I have done anything like this before. So for me, the only way to proceed is with stern optimism and increase tolerance of stress.
I set out to start a float center…and it has begun.
